Accounting Analyst - Odoo ERP Implementations

We are looking for a full-time Accounting Analyst to work for our Canadian and US businesses supporting customers around the world. We offer a hybrid work model with a mix of home working and occasional office work. The majority of the work can be done remotely. Occasionally, travel to client sites will be required.

This is a client facing role. Successful Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and must be fluently bilingual in English and French.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation & Requirement Gathering:

• Engage with clients to understand their accounting processes, financial reporting needs, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct workshops and interviews to gather detailed functional requirements.

Odoo Configuration & Customization:

• Configure Odoo accounting modules, including but not limited to the Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing modules.
• Customize workflows and reports to align with client-specific processes and regulatory standards.

Data Migration & Integration:

• Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to Odoo, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications such as banking platforms

Training & Support:

• Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users to facilitate smooth adoption.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation to address any functional issues.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest Odoo features and accounting best practices to provide clients with innovative solutions.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to optimize financial operations.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional CPA certification
• Fluent (spoken and written) in French and English.
• Strong Excel Skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI would be an asset.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial consulting roles.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with proper guidance as well as able to work well as part of a team.
