About the Role

This is a rare chance to build cutting-edge, AI-native business software from the ground up and to help define what it looks like. We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can move fast, ship real product, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior leadership to turn ambitious ideas into working systems.

You'll be at the center of building production applications, with direct influence over the technical direction we take. This is primarily a product engineering role.  Much of your time will be spent building polished, production-grade React applications with a meaningful and growing component focused on integrating real AI capabilities: modern AI APIs and SDKs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and protocols like MCP.

It's fast-paced, high-ownership work for someone who wants their fingerprints on both the product and the architecture.

What You'll Do

Frontend & Product Engineering (primary focus)

  • Development & Code Review: Develop, review, and optimize React/TypeScript code for performance, maintainability, and scalability; establish and enforce coding standards
  • Production Deployment: Transform prototypes into production-ready applications with proper error handling, logging, monitoring, and security
  • Architecture & Technical Direction: Make pragmatic architecture decisions and help shape the technical roadmap alongside senior leadership
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and build processes; mentor team members on best practices

AI Integration

  • AI Feature Development: Integrate AI provider APIs and SDKs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) into production applications to build reliable, user-facing AI features
  • RAG & Retrieval: Build retrieval-augmented generation features that let AI work over data and content
  • AI Tooling & Integrations: Connect AI systems to internal tools, APIs, and data sources using MCP and similar frameworks
  • Quality & Performance: Help keep AI features accurate, fast, and cost-effective in production

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

Technical Expertise Frontend

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of deep React expertise; strong TypeScript proficiency
  • Production deployment experience with modern platforms (e.g. Google Cloud, Vercel, Supabase, etc.)
  • Testing expertise: unit, integration, and E2E testing

Core Competencies

  • Expert-level code review skills with ability to spot subtle bugs and architectural issues
  • Deep understanding of web performance, security, and accessibility
  • Ability to reason about latency, cost, and quality trade-offs in AI feature design
  • Strong grasp of software architecture principles and design patterns
  • Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed and quality

Communication & Leadership

  • Clear technical communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Experience creating technical documentation and standards
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of these is a plus, but we're happy to help the right engineer grow into the AI side of the role:

  • Hands-on experience integrating AI provider APIs and SDKs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) into shipped products
  • Experience building AI-powered features that are reliable in production
  • Familiarity with RAG and connecting AI to custom data sources
  • Experience with MCP or similar AI integration frameworks
