Senior Odoo Functional Consultant

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant to own complex ERP engagements from discovery and solution design through go-live and long-term success.

This is not a traditional ERP consulting role. Our consultants are experienced business operators who understand manufacturing, distribution, finance and operations because they have lived it. They guide clients through business transformation, not simply a software implementation.

You will lead the engagement from start to finish, bringing together executive stakeholders, functional and technical specialists to deliver projects that are commercially successful, operationally sound and trusted by our clients.

What You Will Do

• Lead the full implementation lifecycle across multiple client engagements: discovery, solution design, build, testing, cutover, go-live and stabilization.
• Run discovery workshops to understand business objectives, operational processes, pain points and growth plans.
• Design practical Odoo solutions that make the most of standard functionality and keep customization to a minimum.
• Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies and resource allocation, keeping the client and the delivery team aligned.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams: developers, integration specialists and data migration resources.
• Act as the primary client advisor, turning business requirements into implementation priorities while managing executive relationships.
• Identify risks early, manage scope actively and guide clients through informed trade-offs between scope, budget and timeline.
• Lead cutover planning, data migration validation, go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilization.
• Run steering committee meetings, executive updates, risk reviews and status reporting.
• Capture lessons learned and refine our delivery methods.

What You Will Bring

• 7+ years leading ERP implementations or large-scale business transformation projects.
• A strong operational background in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail or another complex operational business.
• Experience implementing or operating ERP systems from the client side. We value this highly.
• A proven ability to lead executive-level client relationships and manage complex stakeholder groups.
• A strong functional grasp of finance, manufacturing, inventory, purchasing and supply chain processes.
• Experience leading projects that involve integrations, data migration and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead difficult conversations while keeping the trust of the client.
• Comfort managing several client engagements at once.

Nice To Have

• Previous Odoo implementation experience.
• CPA, MBA, Engineering or Operations background.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
• Odoo Functional Certification.
• Experience with multi-company, multi-branch or international implementations.
